Pet of the Month:
Sasha!
Sasha is the call name for Ch. Jessera Lissalana’s Celtic Dream, But she also has a number of nicknames based on her personality:
Sashie, Deuce coupe, Swee’Pea, Lovey Lou, Zen Doggie or Sofa Slug.
She was born in Dublin Ireland and imported to the US where she produced 2 litters of puppies to s become a cornerstone in establishing the Lissalana kennels of Macon Georgia. But having babies was tough on her little body so when I was looking for a new friend as I faced the decline of my sweet Winnie, Lana just knew that Sasha was the dog for me. We picked her up from her fancy horse farm home And from the moment she was placed in my arms we have had the strongest connection I’ve ever had with any living being.
Sasha likes to sing, her favorite song is Froggy went a-courtin’ and she will, when the mood fits, supply the appropriate uh huhs in the right place. And we can talk sometimes for hours at a time about whatever she feels important. She will give you five but other than that she’s not into tricks or playing-she just wants to be a lap dog. When I was working from home she was always by my side with Sophie and Winnie on guard nearby.
She currently suffers the company of Coco, sharing lap space out of necessity, but knows who’s the boss in that situation (her).
